Enter the Dojo

Like karate, you don’t learn the way of Jesus by sitting around and talking about, it takes hands-on practice.  Enter the Jesus Dojo!  We will spend four days learning about what God is up to in Murfreesboro and joining God’s movement.  We’ll walk the streets, visit people, share stories, serve the community, and have engaging dialogue with one another.  Curious?  Come and see.

To Our Youth and Their Parents,

When I took this job in the Fall of 2011, Polk and I had the understanding that I would be filling this job for 4 years and then I would go to seminary.  My big-picture goal for this short period of time was to shift the paradigm of youth ministry at St. Paul’s from a silo-ed appendage of the church to a ministry that is fully integrated into the mission of the larger parish.  Practically this meant increasing our visibility and being pro-active in our communications to the larger parish.

Youth Family Sadar

Join us in the Parish Hall for our 1st Annual Youth Passover Sadar.  This event is open to those in the youth program (6th-12th grade) and their families.  This evening promises to enrich our understanding of what went on with Jesus and his disciples in the Upper Room, as well as provide a fun and interactive dining experience for the whole family.  Come with an open mind and an empty belly!  We hope you make this an important part of your family’s Holy Week experience this year.
